Description: In contrast, wild-type and mutant AVP mRNAs are present in dendrites. It will be demonstrated that in heterozygous BB rats, which express both alleles of the AVP gene, only the wild-type mRNA is subject to axonal compartmentation, whereas wild-type and mutant mRNAs are directed to dendrites of Hypothalamic magnocellular Neurons.
