Description: VegT and other RNAs, involved in embryonic patterning, follow the late pathway. We have shown that the R. pipiens RNA orthologues of Xdazl and VegT are both localized to the vegetal cortex, suggesting that the two RNA localization pathways exist in R. pipiens.
