Description: Short hairpin RNA (shRNA)-mediated Kcnq1ot1 RNA depletion in embryonic stem (ES), trophoblast stem (TS) and extra-embryonic endoderm stem (XEN) cells had no observable effect on imprinted gene expression, nor on ICR DNA methylation, although a significant decrease in Kcnq1ot1 nuclear volume was observed.
