In order to meet needs of different users , we offer different ways to search our database , including searching by polymorphism , searching by gene and other inquiries . To facilitate the users , an AutoComplete function has been used .

Search by polymorphism name

Users can search the database using keywords polymorphism name. The following formats can be accepted: RS number , Gene Symbol & mutation position ，Gene Symbol & type of mutation. For example , rs2476601 , HLA-DRB1*0401 , PTPN22 1858C/T , IL1RN 86 bp VNTR . Users can choose a category of interest or all categories in this step. If users have no idea about query , they can list all of the polymorphisms in RADB to get more information.

Search by gene name

Users can also search the database using keywords gene name . Entrez Gene ID and Gene Symbol are currently supported , such as 26191, PTPN22 . Similar to the search by gene polymorphism, users can list all of the genes .
